About the Movie Panga

It is the story of a sportswoman turned housewife, who is eager to start her sports career again. But in her way of fulfilling her dreams, there lay the taboos of society. Mostly regarding the age of a woman getting in Kabaddi sports after becoming mother etc. So it is the story of that player who strives hard to overcome all these taboos of society.

Thus, the story starts with a happy family of Prasanth Srivastav. And this family consists of his wife, Jaya who is in a railway job and son in school. But with the passing of time, his son enlightens him of giving his mother a break in her normal routine. So with the help of her son and husband, the female lead strives hard to overcome all the hurdles in her path to enter in the mainstream kabaddi after a hiatus. Thus, it is the story of how she faces the society and whether she will attain success in sports or not.

As in this movie, the female lead is ready to challenge the male dominant society in the sports arena to fulfill her dream of playing for the country. So the trailer is beautiful and it will keep the audience hooked to the screen to view the finishing result of the female lead.

Kangana Ranaut is back on her fierce form of a sportsperson in this movie. So here Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of housewife, mother as well as Kabaddi player who wants to return to Kabaddi film. Along with her, other casts include Jassi Gill on the role of her husband. Also, there is Neena Gupta and Richa Chadda in pivotal supporting roles. The character of Kangana’s onscreen son is reprised by Yagya Bhasin.
